The mouse moves by the reaction from the operation of the user and the ball inside this process is very quick because you notice that the process has been completed every time you move the mouse. This process starts all over again by running the binary code down the USB lead and into the processer which is then understood and moves accordingly. This also works quicker then the human eye. The computer mouse may look different but all run by movement, such as:
• A ball mouse which is a mouse that rolls on a ball which is kept into place by a circular catch with a circular hole in the middle of it, which then in turn helps the ball to move and process the electrical signals down the lead to the processor.
• A three button mouse has three buttons on it which helps you to left click, right click and move the page up and down. This can have a ball or can be infer –red operated.
• An Infer – red mouse is used by the laser inside of the mouse detecting that the location of the desk it is on has moved and detects how much it has moved.
• A wireless mouse doesn’t use cables to transfer the binary data from the mouse to the computer and then to the processor. Instead it connects to a USB at the back of the computer and transfers the data invisibly to the USB device and then to the processor and this all works as quick as a mouse with PS2 lead.
The picture above shows the inside of a mouse it shows the ball, this is used to move the mouse which then navigates the mouse pointer on the screen by the movement of the ball. The ball should be included when you or the technision are doing their routine maintance on the desktop computer.
Their are different forms of mouse which is listed below:
• A five button mouse.
