Storage device
The Hard Drive is a storage space that is used to store data that is taken from the RAM to make the data more permanent. The more data you add to the hard drive the longer it takes to access the data.

Rom
The ROM has the operation system stored on it, so this communicates with the bios chip and loads up the OS. This is the system can function and load with out it having to boot from the CD every time you load the computer. Rom stands for Read Only Memory.
